A Letter to My Daughter
If She Could See through My Eyes
I am writing this letter to you. My daughter, You're the only girl out of six children, and in many ways that make you special and my eyes and in my heart.
So many times I wish things would have turned out different, and I could give you so much more. I was limited in what I could do and what I could get.
I saw your mother today when she dropped off some paperwork for your brother Matthew. She often reminds me of a restless spirit on an endless flight.
I hope this letter awakens a vision inside your mind. You are now developing into a young woman, and you have decisions to make that would determine your destiny.
I am not here to lecture you on what you need to do for if I was to lecture you once I would need to be lectured 10 times. I am here to put ideas and a foresight and the decisions you will make for your future.
Sweetheart, you have more to think about it just yourself Now. It is time to take the future. Serious and decide on what your destiny will accept that course and hold strong to it.
I have watched people all through my life and one thing I have come to understand that you can achieve things in life. If you are willing to give the time and effort. Yes, I know that's been said many times but how too often we never listen.
I see the world changing and what is coming in the future. I hope you think about what we have been talking about in the information I have sent you.
It is nice to spend time with your friends and feel the good buzz. But as the buzz fades away, and we move on to the next day we ask ourselves what has changed.
Don't wait until the last minute grabs the opportunity to move ahead, and if you do you will be ahead of tomorrow.
If you are going to college to become a doctor. You will have to study for eight years. But you know at the end you will have a great career with a very good income.
Think of this in that sense, you have to apply yourself to move ahead and out for the situation you are now and into a better life.
I know you don't have money now but what is money. If you don't have the knowledge, you must first learn and seek the knowledge, and you will find a way.
I know if you set your mind to it. You can achieve anything. But one thing you have to accept it as is going to take time, and you will need to learn things to move ahead.
How often I prayed to God that I could give you so much more I wish I could. What I offer now is a glimpse into the future and how to set yourself up.
I have all the training in the information you need. It has to me years to accumulate This information And now the opportunity presents itself.
When as good luck? When opportunity presents itself, and we take advantage of it.
